Our Comfrey and arnica salve is great for aiding in the healing of cuts, scrapes, sprains, bone fractures, inflammation, pain and more. Comfrey is known as bone knit because it has been used for centuries for healing and mending bone fractures. Comfrey along with arnica can be used for sprains, aches and pain due to inflammation and arthritis. Arnica is commonly used in alternative medicine for relieving bruising, pain, muscle soreness, and achy joints.
Our Comfrey was grown and harvested from our garden. No pesticides were used. We use the leaves, roots and flowers in our salve. Dried plant matter was infused into olive oil. Coconut oil and beeswax were added.
Organic Arnica flowers were used.
Comfrey is not recommended for use on deep wounds, as it heals from the outside in. It can heal outer skin layers, but cause lower skin layers to remain unhealed.
